My son has ADHD and a form of Asperger’s called PDD-NOS and requires special assistance that I cannot get the school to provide.
I just found out today from my 15 year old daughter that her cousin tried to force himself on her to have sex. I don’t have money to address this and I am not sure what I am going to do.
Social services is red tape and says we don’t qualify for cash assistance. We managed to get food stamps, but there are other bills to pay for a family of 5.
We do not live extravagantly. We do not have cable TV or own a boat or anything like that. I would sell it if we did. We don’t own our own home either....
I have been trying to cut back everything and now I am at the end of my rope. The family and relationship strain is overwhelming. The kids feel it too. I don’t know what to do.
We need Help. Desperately more than I have written here……….
